Statement
Transvoyeur
is founded on Art, Culture and Society and associated
programmes to mediate and encourage creativity, innovation
and diversity in the research and development of the contemporary
art and audiences within the multi-cultural communities,
regional, national and global. A process of change and
exchange through the liberty, equality, respect
and consensus of independent practice
and mutual collaboration to realise new modes of expression
and thinking.
Manifesto
Transvoyeur is an international artist led initiative,
a collective which is inspired by the urban environment
of the city, constituted by the temporal and spatial references
and semiotics of cultural structures and ideological representations.
Culture and art is a product of the human condition and
life within the city, one of hybridism founded and evolved
from the individual combining with the collective. Through
this fusion the evolution of both generations and the
other cultures manifest innovation and awareness founded
on the diversity of individualism forming the universality
of the culture and post-modern society. Culture and art
one of visualizations, linguistics, expression and communication.
Collective
Objectives
Transvoyeur's objectives are to expand into the international
art market and represent the culture of the city and cities.
To change how art is experienced and the increase both
the practitioner and audience sectors in the global market.
To transform the urban and international relationships
in culture and enable both erudition between individuals,
groups and institutions, dialogue and trade of the arts
in conjunction with the regeneration of the city. The
project is also to engage with groups and institutions
to encourage debate and discussion about related events
in the city. It is founded on the principles of formulating
an enlightenment and awareness of the place, the people
and the culture of the cities, this relationship a duality
within the network of the associates, individuals and
groups who become involved and participate in the research
and development, as the encouragement through art is integral
to all parties on the temporal and spatial aspects of
culture and our individual roles which constitute the
greater milieu of the urban environment.
To
advocate imagination and contemporary research and developments
in the arts and culture. Understanding the artist in modern
society has a cultural and social consciousness to cultivate
their creative perceptions and process to explore the
relationship between art and life. The void between concept
and the contextualization of art is distinct and extraordinary.
The role of Transvoyeur is to mediate and act as a conduit
and bring this creativity to the regional and international
audience and to further extend the ideologies to encourage
erudition within society through the experience of the
art. Thus, it is one to recognise the people of a place
through the artistic explorations and creative processes
and to personify the individualism and collectiveness
of the multi-cultural groups and the fusion of the urban
environment. The social and the historical founding the
contemporary. To form a sense of empathy and relativity
between the artist, the art and the audience, and not
merely one of autonomy.
The
intention to Transvoyeur is one of not only forming cultural
bonds with other places, but to recognise the huge wealth
of talent in the city and access this creativity to make
a difference in people’s lives, to break down socio-cultural
and religious barriers and heighten awareness that everyone
has a role to play in the changes experienced and proposed
for the cities. To this end, Transvoyeur is to be an active
mediator and initiator between the groups and institutions
to advocate an inclusive society and the role each individual
and groups has in the shaping of the city’s regeneration.
To be able to capture the ideas and insights of the people
and the place is a fundamental part of the dialogue and
art born from Transvoyeur.

These
are founded by the history of the society, civic and social,
contemporary issues and the proposed and anticipated changes
in the regeneration and redevelopment of the city. To
embody the perception of cultural diversity and the sense
of identity.
To
become part of the creative industries and initiate programmes
independently and mediatory to other groups in this sector
and administer on the origins of individual creativity,
skill and talent, which a potential of wealth and job

property.
To
advocate the arts, in all their rich variety, belong to
everyone, regardless of race, class, culture, age, sex,
disability or sexuality. To administer and promote this
with innovative solutions, build bridges and express differences
positively, not just for the individual but for whole
communities and representative of the urban environment.
Moreover, to break boundaries and inspire understanding
to contribute to wider social issues. The arts in a social
context can demonstrate excellence. The cultural diversity
of this project is celebrating differences means fostering
mutual understanding and nurturing mutual respect and
ensure this is considered in each initiative structured
under Transvoyeur. The culture of the city is not a single
entity and should be expressed in terms of the differences
which form the hybridism in the place.
To
recognise and implement equal opportunities within the
structure and objectives of Transvoyeur, with or without
disability, to participate across all the at and creative
industries. To support the management of the diverse art
forms and acknowledge that every ‘body’ has
the right to express themselves creatively, but also to
manage, innovate and direct. We advocate equal opportunities
of all people, with or without a disability, to participate
across all the arts and creative industries. It makes
commercial and ethical sense to include talented individuals
who may have previously been excluded by prejudice or
ignorance. Inclusion is an investment in our cultural
heritage and creative economy, so it is the aim to enable
a large sector of the sectors in the city.
To
improve the quality of life and an awareness of the self
and place through erudition and cultural initiatives and
support the pursuit of excellence and advocate the creative
industry. A vision to extend excellence and improve access
to arts created from universal experience of the spatial

by the hybridism of the urban environment, campaigning
universality to art, the city and the community.

cultural research and development to establish dialogue,
mediation and coherence and relations with the groups
and institutions within the city. To be structured around
the discourse of the research and initiated through artist
and collective residential and explorative programmes
with groups and institutions in the cities, consultation
and analysis. In terms of the historical and socio-cultural
environment.
To
broaden access for all to a rich and varied artist and
cultural life and support the artistic activity aspires
to be world class in terms of standard and innovation.
To enable opportunity to develop artistic talent and achieve
excellence in the arts. To develop the educational and
cultural potential of the city’s based artist and
cultural resources. To rise the standards of the artistic
and cultural education and opportunities and mediate between
arts and cultural sectors. Reduce the number of those
that feel excluded from society by applying the arts in
the research to establish a more comprehensive and universal
denomination of the urban environment. Administer this
with the management practice and reflect and use the diversity
of those who are associated to Transvoyeur, either directly
or as part of the fundamental research source.
The
role of culture lies at the very heart of neighbourhood
renewal and community cohesion, with the consequent benefits
for employment, tourism and civic pride. The research
and development will be structured in terms to advocate
this with consultation/interaction with the various social
and institutional groups through out the cities. The arts
have the capacity to:
•
Develop individual pride and community spirit.
• Help reverse the spiral of decline in disadvantaged
areas by fostering a new sense of community and civic
pride amongst residents.
• Attract new commerce and businesses.
• Provide a positive focus for community activity
and innovative creative opportunities.
• Recognise and celebrate cultural diversity to
the cultural benefit of the whole community, socially
and institutionally to what constitutes the city.
