Transvoyeur artists and others at Dollman Disco, a conception produced andmanaged by Gary Sollars, 2005.

[...] The evening opened with music for everyone’s taste, a retrospective of the disco era. Doll Man, aka Sollars, stood aloft behind the DJ box wearing track suit and mask and adopting the persona Doll Man.

Through the night Sollars introduced and orchestrated the diverse characters and performances, ranging from myself as Bunny Girl (Gaynor Evelyn Sweeney), Dorrie Halliday astonishing the audience with her Burlesque routine, Cath O’Shea’s stunning rendition of You’re my World (Cilla Black), and Sean Kenny and Doll Man’s extraordinary duet of Welcome Home (Peters and Lee). Further events transpired through out the night of a custard pie fight open to eager and willing volunteers, the yee-yah collisions of circle dancing and speed bingo. George Lund acted as bouncer earlier on in the evening, but transformed to become the Funky Chicken as Croupier later on in the night.

The guests were invited to dress especially for these New Years festivities and adorn wigs on the turn of midnight. This made the performance expound to the audience to become part of the Doll Man mania. The entire evening was fusion of creative performance, fun and merriment. A bizarre and wonderful experience for all and rapidly earning folklore status!, Review in Art in Liverpool Weblog, 2005.

Transvoyeur Artists and No Cost of Chaos Show, 2005.
Live performance by Gaynor Evelyn Sweeney and George Lund. La mort d'amour, le chat et poulet (The Death of Love, The Cat and Chicken), at No Cost of Chaos Show in the National, Liverpool, England.

'Gaynor Evelyn Sweeney : A live art performance with an overgrown chicken (George). Gaynor is a cat beauty with a body and she’s talented artist, in many ways. This was art in motion and compelling to watch. Gaynor is sultry and graceful, and made more than the bendy chicken flutter it’s wings. People wondered about this art to classical music, Carmen’s ‘Bolero’, (remembered for Torville and Dean’s ice dancing championship) we were not quite sure what was to happen. No one could turn their eyes away. Fabulous!', Review by Amanda DeAngeles, 2005.

The launch of 'Dollman Disco' by Gary Sollars in the Spring. Some of the Transvoyeur artists and other independents extend their professional support to the wonderful visualisation of Sollars. Dollman conceived as an urban character in his photorealist paintings and during the Liverpool Biennial 2004 and embodiment by himself in a performance context. This has evolved further to become an elaborate and exceptional hybridity of Sollar's cultural perceptions in the events of 'Dollman Disco'. This is an independent production by Sollars.

Each exhibition by these artists comes under the premise of a series of shows titled 'Voyeur' Duffy.

Gaynor Evelyn Sweeney at 340 Old Street Gallery, London, England, 2005.

[...] Her pose compositional, statuesque, almost art and artefact. She lowers herself down and removes the ballet shoes. Dresses in the medical coat and departs the scene. The audience outside are absorbed, titillated and enthralled by the actions they witness.

Here the viewer becomes the voyeur, obliged to observe the act of something within standards of normality and usually hidden. The sentience of the flesh and self divination in terms of body modification has set the individual as the deity, no longer depending on any spiritual mysticism, but to render it to the self. The process of re-portraying our bodies in post-modern society is one where the ritual is imbued by the underlining absolute exposé. The explicit body in contemporary society has been attributed a sentience in the flesh of divine reverence [...], Review by Art in Liverpool Weblog, 2005.
